Can sin be inherited or inbred?

Spiritual qualities or conditions cannot be inherited.
At conception, a soul is placed within the body. All children enter the world pure, without the need to be cleansed.
- Ezekiel 18:4 - "Behold, all souls are mine."
- Ezekiel 28:15 - "Thou wast perfect in thy ways from the day thou wast created, till iniquity was found in thee."
- Ecclesiastes 7:29 - "Lo, this only have I found, that God hath made man upright [Hebrew - yashar meaning righteous]; but they have sought out many inventions." This verse was penned approximately 977 B.C., many centuries after the fall of man.
- Galatians 2:17 - "But if, while we seek to be justified by Christ, we ourselves also are found sinners, is therefore Christ the minister of sin? God forbid."
Sin requires both knowledge and an act of will — the power of choice.
